Official rules are listed below. No purchase necessary. Winner is responsible for transportation. A signed waiver by event participant or parent/guardian will be required before you can download tickets.

Official Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Sponsor

This Sweepstakes ("Promotion") is sponsored and administered by The Holman Group, LLC, doing business as Historic Haunt ("Sponsor").

2. Eligibility

The Promotion is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.

Void where prohibited by law.

Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Sponsor are not eligible to win.

3. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins on July 1st, 2026 and ends on July 6th, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern ("Promotion Period").

Entries received outside the Promotion Period are not eligible.

4. How to Enter

To enter:

  • Follow Historic Haunt.

  • Like the official giveaway post.

  • Leave a comment on the giveaway post following the instructions provided.

One (1) entry per person per platform (TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook).

Use of multiple accounts, automated entries, bots, or other attempts to manipulate the Promotion may result in disqualification.

5. Prize

One (1) winner on each platform will receive:

  • Two (2) tour tickets to Laurel's House of Horror.

Approximate Retail Value (ARV): Sixty Dollars ($60)

Transportation, lodging, meals, parking, and all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value.

6. Winner Selection

One potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries per platform after the Promotion closes.

Sponsor may use third-party giveaway software to conduct the random drawing.

The selected entrant is subject to verification before being declared the official winner.

7. Winner Notification

The potential winner will be contacted only through Historic Haunt's official social media accounts. Historic Haunt will never ask for money in connection with this prize.

The winner must respond within forty-eight (48) hours or an alternate winner may be selected.

Sponsor may request proof of age or eligibility before awarding the prize.

8. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

  • violates these Official Rules;

  • attempts to manipulate the Promotion;

  • submits fraudulent entries;

  • engages in abusive or inappropriate conduct.

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion if circumstances beyond Sponsor's reasonable control affect the integrity of the Promotion.

Sponsor is not responsible for any delay, cancellation, postponement, interruption, or modification of the prize experience caused by weather, rain, severe weather, acts of God, public health concerns, venue closure, staffing issues, operational changes, or any other circumstances beyond Sponsor's control.

9. Laurel's House of Horror Conditions

The prize and any attendance at Laurel's House of Horror are subject to Laurel's House of Horror's own rules, policies, procedures, operating hours, safety requirements, age restrictions, dress code, conduct standards, and any other venue requirements in effect at the time of attendance.

The winner and any guest must comply with all applicable Laurel's House of Horror rules and instructions. Failure to comply may result in denial of entry, removal from the venue, or forfeiture of the prize experience, without liability to Sponsor.

Sponsor is not responsible for the acts, omissions, policies, decisions, or conduct of Laurel's House of Horror, its owners, employees, contractors, or representatives.

This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or Meta.

11. Winner Announcement

The verified winner may be announced on Historic Haunt's official social media channels after eligibility has been confirmed.

Do I need to buy something?

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. 

How is the winner selected?

The winner is selected randomly from all eligible entries after the giveaway closes.

The selected entrant is then verified before being officially confirmed.

 

Can I enter multiple times?

One entry per person, per platform up to 3 entries across facebook, instagram, and tiktok.

Multiple accounts or attempts to gain additional entries may result in disqualification.

Is travel included?

No.

This attraction reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone. You will experience intense audio, lighting, extreme low visibility, strobe lights, fog, damp or wet conditions, moving floors, special effects, sudden actions, and an overall physically demanding environment. You should NOT ENTER this haunted house if you suffer from asthma, heart conditions, areprone to seizures, have physical ailments, respiratory or any type of medical problem, are pregnant or suffer any form of mental disease including claustrophobia.

DO NOT ENTER: the attraction if you are intoxicated, wearing any form of cast, medical brace, using crutches, or have any type of physical limitations. Do not enter the attraction if you are taking medication or using drugs of any type. You will not be admitted if any of these conditions are noticed by our staff.

DO NOT ENTER: IF YOU SUFFER FROM - ASTHMA - HEART CONDITIONS - SEIZURES OR ANY TYPE OF MENTAL, PHYSICAL, RESPIRATORY AND OR MEDICAL PROBLEMS.DO NOT smoke, run, eat or drink inside the attraction.
